Particularly my desire to cover the curtains and photos on the wall, which were all easily covered so do not be deterred by the colour of the curtains if these do not match your colour scheme. Would do it all over again at this venue and best all it the price was very reasonable! Thank you. The organisation, the Food, the Staff in fact everything was amazing. All the Guests were very impressed by the location, Food all the attention to detail, the helpfulness of the staff.

Really enjoyed dealing with John. He was always on top of things, gave us good ideas and made us feel very calm! Nothing was too much trouble. Adam and his team, provided excellent service on the day and we had very positive feedback from our guests. Where to start, from the first moment that we met Leanne I knew that our special day would be above and beyond anything we could ever have imagined. The venue is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to have one of the first outdoor ceremonies on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Thames. I spent many months in communication with Leanne over all the details and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Each step of the way I was guided and helped. What can I say, perfection it was from the moment I arrived on the Friday morning until we left on the Monday afternoon. I do not have names for all the members of staff who made our day, the Best Day Ever, who would have thought that the week before it was due to rain and then we end up with the hottest day of the year at 35 degrees.

The team at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel became my second family and I am very much looking forward to visiting them all very soon. Thank you just is not enough in these circumstances, I know you guys would be saying you are just doing your jobs, but boy do you do your jobs with such passion and commitment. We were truly blessed to have you all be part of the most amazing day of our lives. All our love to you all for giving us a day to remember.

Good to know

Enjoyed the whole wedding stay and all of the staff were very helpful. As my wife is wheelchair bound this was very important for our total enjoyment. Wedding - Saturday 20 April - Perfect location, perfect weather, perfect food, every member of staff we encountered was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks must go to John, the Wedding and Special Events Coordinator who is an absolute credit to the Christopher Wren, what a delight to deal with. From our very first meeting with him we knew we had chosen the right venue.

Thanks also to Leanne, in John's absence, for dealing with any queries, Ani and Cath who looked after us brilliantly on the day, the chef and his team for feeding us all so well, and all the bar and waiting staff who were absolutely faultless. We had our dream wedding with many guests commenting on how much they enjoyed themselves. Thank you all, we have a very special place in our heart for your hotel and will be back to celebrate our anniversaries in years to come.

The staff were exceptional, the service we received was beyond what we'd hoped and we truly had the best wedding day. Our guests loved being able to choose their meals and the wine kept flowing. We really appreciated the flexibility which the staff showed during the reception, and the rooms were beautiful. Our unusual afternoon tea wedding reception with chips and karaoke thrown in went fantastically well.

Thank you so so much to the event planners, John, Ivan and Jorge for helping make the day run smoothly together with the receptionists, kitchen and waiting staff and porters all coming together to provide a memorable day.

The room was set up for us and we were given time before the big day to decorate it. Our cake was beautifully decorated by the chef.

Jorge responded positively to all our requests on the day and everybody had a fabulous time. His announcements were so warm and friendly. Breakfast was an excellent start to the day, Dinner was an excellent end. The location is great, everything in walking distance from here. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area, however the restaurant in the hotel offers a nice atmosphere, good service and good food worth a view to the river as well. These buildings seem to be one now, which causes funny staircase constructions. Rooms are quite noisy, bathrooms are outdated and water supply is not a plus point here.

Bedroom was large, and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were friendly, lovely little lounges although we didn't get a chance to sit in them. Room was a little noisy from outside at night. Expensive to stay and would not have expected self service breakfast for the price. Access to spa stopped at 8pm so by the time we checked in etc and had dinner out we didn't get time, then check out 11 am the next day, we missed the chance to go.

As guests perhaps it could have stayed open a little later. Offer of reduced price for the night before came too late as other plans had been made. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.
